Ben Kendall
Ben wrote a summary for his Upper Uwchlan Township contact for the township newsletter:
Approximately 1000 square feet
About 100 plants total, including a service berry tree, blueberry, and aronia shrubs. All plants are native to our region and host plants that attract a variety of bees, butterflies, and birds.
It took about 115 hours to complete the research, design, and plant the garden.
15 Troop 83 scouts and parents, and friends helped
The Backyard Nature Preserve in Chester Springs and LeBeau Gardens in Exton assisted with plant suggestions and ordering the different plants.
Ben worked for UUT public works this summer so they added the perimeter fence.
